Woman burnt as party gatecrashed
A woman is being treated for burns after being hit by a flare at a party in Dawesville overnight.
The 18-year-old is in Peel Health Campus being treated for burns to her arm after she was hit by one of several flares set off at the Dawesville party.
Police were called to the McCubbin Loop home at about 2am after it was believed gatecrashers took two or three flare guns from a boat parked in the rear yard.
Police are investigating and have asked for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
