Jagger's new love named
When Sir Mick Jagger was photographed embracing a mystery woman on a hotel balcony in Zurich earlier this month, speculation went into overdrive on the identity of the brunette beauty.
Sources said the pair crossed paths at a local nightclub, with some even claiming she was a cocktail waitress Jagger was courting in an attempt to move on from the death of his partner L'Wren Scott in March.
However, it has now been revealed the woman in question is leading American ballerina Melanie Hamrick, who, at 27, is 43 years younger than her rumoured beau, and the duo first met three months ago in Japan while Jagger was on tour with the Rolling Stones.
A spokesperson for the rocker confirmed to The Mail on Sunday that Jagger and Hamrick were introduced when she went backstage after the concert with other members of the ballet troupe, who were in Japan for performances.
But sources were quick to add that nothing happened between the two before Scott's death.
Earlier this month, Jagger and Hamrick were snapped kissing on the balcony of the penthouse suite at the five-star Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich, leading Scott's sister to slam the singer for the speed at which he was moving on from his long-time love.
The ballerina has reportedly withdrawn from the public eye.
