Ute stolen after man, 62, pulled from driver's seat

South West Detectives are seeking to identify a man who can assist with their inquiries into an incident in Bunbury on April 30.

At around 8.30pm, a 62-year-old man was sitting in his black Holden Commodore ute at the Mindalong Beach carpark on Ocean Drive in South Bunbury.

He was approached by three men in a grey dual-cab ute who asked for directions.

They then left the area after the man helped them.

A short time later, the three returned.

The victim was pulled from his vehicle and asaulted before the three drove off in his Commodore ute and their vehicle.

The attached image is believed to be of the stolen ute at the Coles Express at Beeliar on the morning of May 1.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured refuelling the ute to help with inquiries.
