Two die on WA roads after hitting trees (The West)

A man who had been reported missing has been found dead after a motorcycle crash south of Perth and an international student has died in a separate crash in Perth overnight.

A WA police spokesman said the 70-year-old missing man was riding with others from Rockingham to Dwellingup but was reported missing around 9.20pm after he did not return home.

"Contact was made with a person he had been riding with, and officers were able to establish he was last seen by the other riders in Dwellingup, when he started his ride home," the police spokesman said.

Rockingham police found the man's body at Whittaker, north of Dwellingup, where he had crashed into a tree.

An international student died in Karawara early this morning.

About 12:10am a Hyundai Excel sedan was being driven on Manning Road, Karawara.

The spokesman said a 21-year-old Bentley man died after he drove onto a median strip and hit a bollard and a tree around midnight.

"An ambulance attended the scene, and a police officer drove the ambulance to the hospital so the ambulance officers could focus on the patient.

"The injured man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, however he has since passed away."
