Detectives want to speak to a man who reportedly leant out of a car and grabbed a child in Mandurah earlier this year.

Between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday, February 28, a car stopped on Reserve Drive, near two children who were riding their bicycles.

The car was an old, small, two-door vehicle with red and brown stripes.

There were three young men in the car, including the man pictured in the identikit image.

A police spokeswoman said the man leant out of the front passenger window and grabbed one of the children around the arm.

However the child managed to pull away and the car left the area.

All three men were described as 17 or 18 years old with fair skin.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
