Cops probe caravan park murder

Major Crime officers investigating the murder of a 50-year-old man in Orange Grove overnight are questioning two people.

Police were called to the Crystal Brook Caravan Park on Kelvin Road about 5.20pm after receiving reports of a man with serious injuries.

St John Ambulance officers were called but the man died shortly after their arrival.

Forensic officers are at the caravan park this morning.

Police earlier sought help to find a 2003 champagne-coloured Holden Commodore, registration 1DUZ059. The station wagon was seen leaving the caravan park shortly after the incident.

A spokeswoman said the vehicle was found a short time ago on Mazzini Street in East Victoria Park after a call from a member of the public.

She said a man and a woman, who were in the vehicle, were currently helping police with their inquiries.

Anyone with further information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
