Two arrested after house blaze

A suspicious fire caused $50,000 damage to a Mandurah house this afternoon.

Firefighters were called to a property on Tuckey Street just after 1.30pm after reports of smoke.

It took 16 firefighters about 20 minutes to control the blaze.

A police spokesman said two men were taken into custody and were being questioned about the blaze.

The house is under police guard.
