Shotgun brandished in Red Rooster robbery

A man brandishing a shotgun robbed a Red Rooster store in Ballajura overnight.

Police were called to the armed robbery on Illawarra Crescent and Kingfisher Avenue after a man entered the store with the firearm and demanded money from staff around 10am.

A police spokesman said he was given an amount of cash before leaving the area.

He is described as a fair skinned male, around 180cm tall, and was wearing black pants, a dirty dark hoody, a black baseball cap and a bandanna covering his face.
