Boy, 12, charged over burglary

A 12-year-old boy was charged and four teens were arrested last night over a burglary in Gosnells.

Police were called to Lynn Street after a resident allegedly spotted one of the boys standing in a garden with a knife.

Officers cordoned off the area and a police dog found the group at a neighbour's home.

A 12-year-old Armadale boy has been charged with aggravated burglary and commit, stealing and providing false particulars.

He will appear in Armadale Children's Court today.

A 14-year-old Brookdale boy and a 14-year-old and 13-year-old from Armadale will also appear in Armadale Children's Court today.

A 17-year-old Armadale boy received a juvenile caution for trespassing.
