$200m winner joins dad in luxury club

A British mechanic who shares his love of luxury cars with his dad has won nearly $196m lottery jackpot.

Neil Trotter, of Coulsdon in Surrey, scooped the £108m ($196m) jackpot on Friday but he is not the first millionaire in the family, after his father Jim made his fortune as a businessman.

Neil Trotter will be able to mix it with his father, who has an enviable home and a fleet of luxury cars.

The Daily Mail website reports that Neil Trotter, 41, runs his own repair garage and has his eye on owning luxury brands Jaguar and Porsche.

Mr Trotter Jnr celebrated his win with his partner Nicky and Budweiser beer.

In addition to a lifestyle upgrade, he plans to help his sister out and buy his daughter a pony.

His win makes him Britain's National Lottery's fourth biggest winner.
