Woman, 93, robbed after reaching for milk

Police are hunting a man who robbed a 93-year-old woman after pushing her over at a Dianella shopping centre.

The woman was reaching for milk on a high shelf at Centro Dianella about midday on January 20 when the man pushed her in the back.

While the woman was on the ground the offender reached into her handbag and stole her wallet.

The “shaken” victim was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Mirrabooka detectives have released an image of a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

He is believed to be in his 30s, dark skinned and 175cm tall. The man wore a white t-shirt, black pants and a black baseball cap with the “Nike” swoosh on the front.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
