The hosts vying for Sarah Harris' Studio 10 job: 'Liven things up'

After Sarah Harris was announced to be taking over as host of The Project following Carrie Bickmore's departure, people have been wondering who will fill in her role on Studio 10. There are reportedly a number of candidates who are keen on the role, including Studio 10's entertainment presenter Angela Bishop, 55, who has expressed interest.

Meanwhile, Jessica Rowe, 52, and Denise Drysdale, 74, could also return to the show, according to TV commentator Rob McKnight, who also happened to create and produce the show.

"Angela Bishop has proven time and time again she has what it takes to host the show," he told Woman's Day. "Jess and Denise had a great dynamic, so why not bring them back and really liven things up?"

According to the Daily Mail, a Ten insider hinted it's currently "do or die" for the the show, which needs to pick the best host possible to continue engaging viewers.

Some of the show's other former hosts include Ita Buttrose, Joe Hildebrand and Kerri-Anne Kennerley, with the source saying "executives have dug their heels in for too long", and the show is in desperate need of a makeover.
