Terrifying plane turbulence leaves dozens of passengers injured
Forty-five passengers and crew members on a flight have been treated by paramedics after being injured when the plane suffered strong turbulence.
Mexican airline Volaris confirmed that their flight 423 from Guadalajara to Tijuana, in Mexico suffered turbulence which caused injuries to crew members and passengers.
A press statement read: “Some clients and members of the crew were reported as injured. Clients and members of the crew were attended to after landing in Tijuana by the medical services.”
Federal police sources confirmed that 45 people were injured in the incident and seven had been taken to hospital.
Those not taken to hospital were treated by Red Cross paramedics in Tijuana airport.

The camera then moves down the aisle until reaching an injured person lying on the floor and a crew member can be heard on the public address system asking for a doctor.
The State Coordination of Baja California of the Federal Police said the flight had suffered the turbulence when crossing over Mexicali, the capital city of the state of Baja California.
