Texas Christian vlogger and father a 'paying Ashley Madison customer'

A popular Christian vlogger and father whose videos revealing his wife's pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage went viral this month has been found to be a paying Ashley Madison customer.

Sam Rader, one half Texas-based Christian vlogging couple Sam and Nia, allegedly made two payments of $189 to the cheating website in September 2013 – the same month his second daughter was born and his fourth wedding anniversary.

Four additional payments of $14 also appear to have been made under the same username, the Daily Mail reports.

Rader's details were shared on 4chan and Twitter, allegedly found in the data dump of 37 million names hacked from the infidelity service.

Web sleuths verified Rader's personal details that match his location in Terrell, Texas and his personal domain address @becausethatswhy.com.

Hackers released the 37 million user details this month of the site bearing the tagline: "Life's short. Have an affair."

Several websites have sprung up in the wake of the dump to allow suspicious spouses to check husbands and wives' email addresses to see if they are registered on the site.

Rader's managers said they would not "comment on this right now" while Rader himself has not responded as he and wife Nia attend a blogging conference in Seattle.

A Christian couple, Sam and Nia have shared details of their family – which includes two daughters aged four and two – through their online video blog.

Their vlog went viral this month when Sam revealed to his wife she was pregnant when he dropped a pregnancy test in the toilet after she allegedly forgot to flush.

Days later the couple revealed they had suffered a miscarriage, gaining them massive viral attention.

Skeptics accused the couple of picky backing on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan discussion of their own miscarriage.

The Raders accused their critics of having an anti-Christian bent.

Another Christian caught up in the Ashley Madison hack is Josh Duggar, a moral campaigner who gained notoriety from through the reality TV show about his family 19 Kids and Counting.

The erstwhile executive director of the Christian conservative lobby group, the Family Research Council, Duggar has also been found out to be a paying Ashley Madison user.

This revelation came after Duggar was revealed in May to have molested five teen girls – including two of his sisters – in 2002.
