EXCLUSIVE: Australian terror survivor reveals horror of London attack

EXCLUSIVE: An Australian victim of the London terror attacks speaks for the first time about looking into the eyes of one of the terrorists before he slashed her throat.

In a Sunday Night exclusive interview, survivor Candice Hedge, 34, describes the horror of the sickening attack that left eight dead and more than 50 injured in the heart of London.

“He looked at me and I looked at him,” Candice tells Melissa Doyle.

“It really happened so quickly.”

Three men armed with knives drove a van into a crowd of pedestrians on the London Bridge, before stabbing innocent members of the public at random.

Among the dead are two Australians; nurse Kirsty Boden and nanny Sara Zelenak.
