Search on for mystery $20 million Powerball winner

A mystery Melbourne Powerball player is sitting on a winning ticket worth an incredible $20 million.

Australia’s latest multi-millionaire holds the only division one winning entry nationally in Powerball draw 1280, drawn on Thursday and will pocket the entire division one prize of $20 million, if only they would check their ticket.

The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said she was eager to unite the unregistered Victorian Powerball player with their prize.

“It’s likely this winner is going about their day as normal, thinking of all the errands and jobs they’ll have to do this weekend before heading to work on Monday, with no idea they could put their feet up and relax indefinitely,” she said.

The winning entry was sold at Doveton News and Lotto and owner Prince Narula said he can’t wait to meet the winner.

“Wow! It is very exciting! We’ve been telling customers about the win all morning!” he exclaimed.

“We hope every person who checks their ticket is our winner, but so far no one has discovered the good news.”

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1280 on November 26 2020 were 30, 20, 7, 3, 25, 21 and 31. The all-important Powerball number was 2.

“There are 20 million reasons why all players who purchased a Powerball entry from Doveton News and Lotto should check their tickets today,” Ms Cooney said.

The winner has six months to claim their prize before the funds are transferred to the State Revenue Office under Victorian Law.
