'This has to be a joke!' Winner of $60 million Powerball jackpot REVEALED

Australia’s newest millionaire and the shocked winner of Powerball’s $60 million jackpot has been revealed as a Sydney woman in her 20s.

Draw 1270 was drawn on Thursday night to result in only one division one winner, and 26 division two wins of $35,977.90.

Incredibly, the woman had purchased a PowerHit entry, meaning she also took home 19 division two prizes, bolstering her winnings to $60,683,656.95.

The jackpot winner, who lives in inner-city Sydney, burst into tears when she learned of her life-changing win.

“Are you joking?” she said. “Are you sure about this? Oh my god, this is insane. Thank you!

“I’m trying to compose myself. I feel like this has to be some kind of joke.

“It’s my husband who usually buys the tickets. There’s no way he’s going to believe me. This is amazing!”

She said she plans to pay off all her debts, buy a house and help out her parents and siblings.

“Hopefully, when we can travel again, we will be able to take our whole family somewhere overseas.

“This is very overwhelming. I’m shaking like a leaf! This is crazy!”

Tonight’s winner has become the ninth Powerball division one winner this year, with a collective sum of more than $360 million handed out in prize money.

The winning numbers drawn in Powerball draw 1270 were 4, 11, 19, 28, 3, 5 and 7, while the Powerball number was 6.
