Heartwarming moment toddler hugs delivery man who lost his daughter
A young child has unintentionally made a grieving pizza delivery man’s night when she rushed to hug him during a recent delivery.
Footage of the touching scene was captured on a home security camera and shows the moment the two-year-old boy Cohen, from Rhode Island in the US, ran out to embrace delivery man Ryan Catterson.
The hug meant more to Catterson than the little fella could ever have imagined as the delivery man’s teenage daughter had recently died.
“We found out that Ryan unexpectedly lost his daughter recently, and that hug from Cohen was a little blessing from God,” the boy’s mother, Sheely, wrote on Facebook.
“I believe in divine appointments and know that Ryan was the one to deliver our pizza for a reason.”
A GoFundMe page has since been set up to help with funeral expenses for Catterson’s daughter.
