The world's most famous video-bomber's big day with 7 News

It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for one of Australia’s newest social media darlings.

When Georgia Knoll cheekily ‘video-bombed’ a 7 News Mackay segment being filmed at a shopping centre in early June, she had no idea she would soon be carrying mini-superstar status.

The video of the 23-year-old stealing the show from presenter Scott Van Der Linden has gone viral, with more than 6-million views on the original post and a 100-million worldwide.

7 News decided it was time to say thank you. Georgia and her family were flown from Mackay to 7 Queensland’s studios on the Sunshine Coast, for a day of pampering and meeting the stars.

Georgia quickly became one of the funniest and lovable celebrities the news crew had worked with, a natural in front of the camera.

The big day started with meeting some of the presenters and touring the building.

Then it was time for a makeover, where the 7 News stylist worked her magic to fulfill Georgia’s request of ‘Beyonce hair’.

Georgia embraced the makeover experience, telling the stylist she’s ‘going to be a famous model one day’.

‘Watch out Michelle Obama,’ she said as she checked out her new look in the mirror.

All made up, it was time for Georgia to take the throne at the news desk.

She looked pretty content in front of the studio camera, but there was one more thing she was looking forward to… meeting presenter Rob Brough.

Rob turned the tables on Georgia, sneaking up behind her and ‘video-bombing’ her shot.

Georgia was thrilled to bits to meet Rob and help present a part of the news.

Everyone at 7 Queensland was touched by Georgia’s visit. There are big things to come for this amazing young lady.
