Two children struck by taxi on Sydney's North Shore

Two children have been struck by a taxi while crossing a road on Sydney's North Shore.

The children, aged 8 and 10, were crossing the road at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Rocklands Road in Crows Nest when they were struck around 11am.

Emergency services were called to the scene, where the children were rushed to hospital.

A NSW police spokeswoman told Yahoo7 News that they are not believed to be seriously injured.

She said police are speaking to the taxi driver.

More to come.
