'My beloved Tanya has passed away': Husband's tribute to mum missing since Christmas Day, found dead
The husband of a mother-of-three who had been missing since Christmas Day has paid a heartbreaking tribute after announcing her body had been found nearly two days later.
Tanya Laws, 39, was last seen at an Engadine home at about 8pm on Monday.
A search was undertaken for the mother before her body was located on Wednesday in bushland at Engadine, police said in a statement.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances," the police statement said.
Her husband Stephen Laws announced the news to friends and family through a friend on Facebook.
"It is with deepest sorrow that today I have received the news that my beloved Tanya has passed away," he said.
"I'd like to thank everyone involved in the search, and for your prayers and support."
Ms Laws' sister, who started a Facebook page in the hope of finding her has posted: "Our beautiful sister, daughter, wife, mother was found today".
"She has passed on into God's hands, she was our beautiful angel sent to us for a short time," the post said.
"Rest my beautiful sister. Half of me has gone away with you my love."
