Gang of 'bored' girls bash teen girl at Sydney railway station

A group of teenage girls beat up another teen girl boarding a bus at a Western Sydney railway station, broadcasting the unprovoked attack on Facebook Live.

In the video titled "Board", presumably intended to be "bored", that was livestreamed on Tuesday night, a group of young thugs hanging at Blacktown train station decided to get their kicks by seeking out some violence.

They find their prey: another teen girl waiting with friends for a bus.

As the near-six minute video plays out, the gang chastise their victim's choice of clothes, hounding and threatening her as she makes her way toward her bus.

"Hustle her! Hustle her!" one teen says off camera, egging her friends on to violence.

The hoods step onto the bus where a fight breaks out, two girls walloping their smaller victim to the sound of their friends' encouragement.

The bus driver, encased behind a plastic security screen, does not intervene in the 30-second brawl.

With hair pulled and fists flying, the smaller girl tries her best to fend off her attackers while her friends try to beak up the fight.

With their victim severely bruised and beaten, the gang flees from the bus and station.

The whole incident was livestreamed in Facebook Live on Tuesday night by one of the assailants who is believed to be 13 years old.

The teen then reshared the video, boasting, "My fight on the bus shit anyway nth my crew got my back always bloods (sic)."

The "bloods" comment is thought to refer to the Los Angeles street gang of the same name.

At one instant in the video, a red bandana is flashed before the screen indicating the gang's colour.

There have been some groups of men in the Mount Druitt area claiming association to the Bloods, many of Pacific Island descent.

A spokesman for NSW Police told 7 News a review of the video and an investigation surrounding the circumstances is currently underway.

The original video has been watched 32,000 times with many commenters calling the thugs out as cowards ganging up on a smaller girl.
