Furious mum calls for millennials to be banned from popular tourist destination

An Facebook post from an angry mother has divided opinion online over whether childless millennials should be going to the happiest place on earth.

The debate kicked off last week when a Twitter user with the handle @JenKatWrites shared a screenshot of a Facebook post from September, last year, where a mother declared her hate for “childless women” after an incident at Disney World.

“DW (Disney World) is a FAMILY amusement park!!!!” The mother wrote on Facebook. “Yet these IMMATURE millennials THROW AWAY THEIR MONEY ON USELESS CRAP!!!!”

The mother goes on to say childless millennials cannot comprehend the “joy and happiness” it is for mothers to buy their kids treats and toys and they will never experience the exhaustion from chasing around a three year old at the amusement park.

All of this fury was over a pretzel.

“This c**t in some very SL**TY shorts was buying a Mickey pretzel and Aiden wanted one but the line was very long,” the mother went on to say.

“It broke his poor little heart and he cried and I WANTED TO TAKE THAT F**KING PRETZEL FROM THAT TRAMP LIKE THANKS B**CH YOU MADE MY SON CRY.”

The mother then called for all people without children be banned from Disney World, because Disney World is “for children”. The mother also said mums with children should be allowed to skip the entire line.

She ended the post with “I f**king hate childless women with a BURNING PASSION”.

After @JenKatWrites shared the screenshot to Twitter and declared it her “new favourite wild mommy post”, it went viral.

Since then, an article posted by the New York Post has propelled the debate with an article titled “Sorry, childless millennials going to Disney World is weird” - all but agreeing with the “wild mommy”.

The author of the article suggested millennials were skipping “great films” recently released to “relive the second grade” and millennials favour “A Whole New World” rather than travelling the real world.

As expected, Twitter hit back at the article.

“I wish millennials could afford to have kids and go to Disneyworld,” one person Tweeted. “Can’t have both.”

“Anyone who’s ever been to Walt Disney World, or Disneyland, knows that there are people there without kids,” someone else Tweeted.

“And anyone who’s been going for a while knows that millennials didn’t invent it, nor are they the only ones who do it.”

One Twitter user suggested a “Unofficial Childless Millennial Day” - “Wear your sl**tiest shorts and meet me at the pretzel line, fellow weird adult babies” another user said they would make a “childless millennial” shirt to wear to Disney World.

Disney has not yet commented on whether they will ban childless millennials, however, it would be safe to presume they won’t.

In response to the debate, one person tweeted several quotes from Walt Disney himself, who clearly wasn’t ageist and had no problem with childless people enjoying Disney World.

“You're dead if you aim only for kids,” the Disney quote reads.

“Adults are only grown up kids anyway.”
