Milk sold in Coles, IGA and Woolworths recalled over fears it may contain cleaning solution

Eight varieties of milk sold in Victoria have been recalled amid fears they may contain cleaning solution.

Lactalis Australia is recalling the milk products which have been available for sale in Coles, Woolworths, IGA and other retailers as they may contain "an amount of food grade dairy cleaning solution".

"The milk products may have a yellowish colouring and/or metallic chemical taste," the company said in a statement on Thursday night.

Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
