Police are on the hunt for four men who allegedly stormed a southwest Sydney home armed with a pistol, machete, and a Taser,

Emergency services were called to the home on Blaxcell St in South Granville about 10pm on Wednesday after reports of a home invasion.

Police were told the four armed men allegedly entered the home while armed, before assaulting one of the occupants and fleeing with cash.

The group were reportedly seen fleeing the area in two vehicles, a silver Nissan and a Toyota Aurion sedan, before police arrived.

A 38-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries, but did not require further treatment.

The second occupant of the home – a 36-year-old man - was not injured.

Police have since established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
