Mystery after man's body found in car park next to primary school

A man’s body has been discovered at a car park next to a primary school in Melbourne’s southeast.

Investigations are continuing at the scene after the deceased male was found at the car park in Lesdon Avenue, near Donnelly Reserve, Cranbourne about 7.15am by passers-by.

The car park is next to Rangebank Primary School, a Victoria Police spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia.

Aerial footage from 7News shows the man’s body lying in the middle of the car park underneath a white sheet.

The school has been closed for the day, the Herald Sun reports.

A crime scene has been set up and the homicide squad are on scene.

The man has yet to be identified.
