Man's unbelievable excuse for 'burning McDonald's worker with hot coffee'

A man has offered an unbelievable excuse for allegedly burning a McDonald’s employee with hot coffee.

Charles Prince, 54, returned to a McDonald’s in Nashville, Tennessee, holding a cup of coffee he had purchased on Thursday, WKRN reports.

Prince was reportedly angry about his coffee being “too watery” and not strong enough.

The employee explained to him the coffee was freshly brewed before it’s alleged Prince knocked his coffee over the counter and burnt her arm.

He was arrested and charged with assault.

The 54-year-old has since been released on a $2100 bond.
