Lockdown at Nepean Hospital after 'bomb threat'
Nepean Hospital in Sydney’s west was in lockdown on Wednesday morning following a threat made to the emergency department.
NSW Police told Yahoo News a police operation has now come to an end after “a threat” was made and the hospital was evacuated as a precaution at about 11am.
There is speculation that a bomb threat was made towards the hospital, The Western Weekender reported.
The hospital’s emergency department was temporarily closed with ambulances diverted to other nearby hospitals.
