'She has literally just vanished': Mum's appeal to find missing teen

The parents of a teenager who has been missing for over a month have made an emotional appeal for information that could help find her.

Leah Croucher, 19, was last seen by her family in Milton Keynes, northwest of London, at around 10pm on Valentine’s Day and was reported missing the following day.

Since an investigation started, police have received one confirmed sighting of the teen in Furzton, in the south of Milton Keynes, about 8.15am on February 15 but her movements after that are unknown.

A $9000 reward has been offered for information that could lead to finding Leah.

Her parents John and Claire issued an appeal on Thursday.

“Despite the extensive efforts of the police searches. Despite over 120 of our family and friends who have handed out leaflets over three weekends as far afield as London and Birmingham. There have been no further confirmed sightings of Leah,” Ms Croucher said.

“Despite extensive police appeals, our previous press conference, shares and retweets on social media from family, friends, complete strangers and celebrities alike. Despite over 200 of you, the public, calling in, there has been no confirmed sightings of Leah.”

Ms Croucher added there is even a poster of her daughter at a train station in Berlin with Australians also aware of her disappearance in a story which has gone global.

“She has literally just vanished,” she said.

Leah is described as Caucasian, about 158cm tall, of slim build, with below shoulder length brown hair and she sometimes wears glasses.

She was last seen dressed in a black coat, skinny black jeans and black Converse high top shoes and was carrying a small black backpack.
