Kmart Australia has slashed prices on a range of its children’s toys, with many prices as much as 50 per cent off.

Several favourites, such as Toy Story characters as well as interactive plush toy furReal Cubby has had prices dropped as part of a permanent sale.

A talking Bo Peep toy previously priced at $39 is now $25, while a Nerf gun at $49 is now nearly half price at $25. The furReal Cubby is down to $79 from $169, and previously $99 Hatchimals can be now bought for just $49.

There are items going for cheap for adults, too, with fitness mats, gym balls, towels, backpacks, clothing, beauty products, plastic food containers and more as part of the mass markdown.

The good news is that the markdowns are permanent: the price drops have no time limit.

Kmart’s Callum Smith said that the markdown came at at time when families’ wallets were feeling pinched.

"At Kmart, we have a long history of connecting Australian families with trends and making them more accessible with our everyday low prices," he said.

"We want to provide that same support to families over Christmas.”

You can see the full range of products that have had prices dropped on Kmart’s website.
