Kanye West says he wants to divorce Kim Kardashian in Twitter rant
Kanye West has claimed he is trying to divorce his famous wife, Kim Kardashian-West, in another series of erratic tweets.
The US rapper, who is currently staying at his ranch in Wyoming, took to social media to claim “they tried to fly in two doctors to 51/50 [him]”, but the tweets were again swiftly deleted.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meekest the Waldorf for ‘prison reform’,” Kanye wrote.
“I got 200 more to go…this my lady tweet of the night…Kris Jong-Un baby my favourite rapper but won’t do a song with me,” he continued, likely referring to his mother-in-law Kris Jenner.
He later said Meek, referring to rapper Meek Mill, was “respectful”, but “Kim was out of line”.
“Kris and Kim put out a statement without my approval…that’s not what a wife should do. White supremacy…says the future president,” he wrote.
The performer’s tweets come just one day after he sparked further concerns among fans, again taking to Twitter to claim his wife was trying to have him ‘locked up’ on medical grounds.
He also compared himself to Nelson Mandela and suggested the movie ‘Get Out’ was based on his own life.
The late-night flurry of activity on Monday – the bulk of which was deleted a few hours later – came after Kanye launched his US presidential campaign with a usual rally in Charleston, South Carolina.
At that event, he tearfully referenced a decision he said he made with wife Kim Kardashian not to abort a pregnancy.

Kanye’s record company UMusic and a representative for Kardashian and Jenner did not immediately respond to emails seeking comment.
The 43-year-old, a former supporter of President Donald Trump, has left voters befuddled over whether his campaign is genuine or a publicity stunt to help sell albums or merchandise.
In response to a tweet asking him to “Save Kanye”, Tesla Inc Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk said: “We talked about an hour ago. He seems fine.”
Kanye West has previously been hospitalised after suffering a mental breakdown and "temporary psychosis" in 2016, according to Us Weekly.
This breakdown occurred after his wife Kim Kardashian West was tied up in her Paris hotel and robbed, while he was thousands of kilometres away in the US.
The experience left him shaken and paranoid and according to the publication, he was "completely freaked out".
Kanye reportedly "hadn't slept in about a week" and was exhibiting "aggressive and terrifying outbursts" before being taken to hospital.
The rapper, however, calls his stint in the hospital a "breakthrough" not a "breakdown".
Kanye's family is reportedly "very concerned" for him with reports suggesting he is currently "in the middle of a serious bipolar episode".
According to TMZ, Kanye suffers from a serious bipolar episode approximately once a year and his decision-making abilities are hindered.
"Our sources say his family and those close to him are worried, but they believe things will stabilise as they have in the past,” the publication wrote.
"The problem here, is that Kanye's proclamations are causing problems."
