Sam Armytage fuels engagement rumours after second jewellers visit with beau Richard Lavender
Sunrise host Samantha Armytage has poured yet more fuel over those firey rumours that she and her businessman boyfriend Richard Lavender are set to walk down the aisle.
The TV presenter - who celebrated her 43rd birthday on September 4 - and her beau were spotted at an up-market jewellery store on Thursday, marking their second such expedition in as many days.
The couple’s shopping habits have lead many to speculate that the loved-up pair might just be on the hunt for something special - an engagement ring, perhaps?
Is Sam getting married?
The happy couple were seen browsing the glittering wares together at celeb-fave jeweller Jan Logan’s Double Bay store in Sydney.
At one point the blonde beauty tried on a pair of earrings, which Richard reportedly picked out and paid for.
While it’s unclear if the love birds left with another special piece of wedding bling, tellingly Jan Logan herself was on site - perhaps to help Sam and Richard find the perfect piece?
In terms of price, the brand’s carefully curated range of 18 carat engagement rings start at just over $3,000 and go up to a cool $17,950 for a diamond and pink diamond ‘Penelope’ ring.
This most recent visit comes just days after Sam and Richard dropped by Cerrone, adding weight to the suggestion that they're in the market for something specific.
Who is Sam’s man, Richard Lavender?
Sam, sporting a crisp striped shirt and blue skinny jeans, and a well-dressed Richard were all smiles post-purchase as they made their way back to their car.
Ever the gentleman, the Bowral-based businessman made sure to open the door for his lady love.
The pair, who have been together for five months, recently returned from a romantic getaway in Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands.
Back in NSW, the couple reportedly split their time between Sam’s Bondi pad and Richard’s Southern Highlands home, where the ambassador for WW (formerly Weight Watchers) also owns a $2.2 million property.
Richard, who is reportedly in his late 50s, split from his wife about two years ago and was casually dating before linking up with Sam.
Sam dated multi-millionaire Paul O'Brien for 12 months, but the pair broke it off in March this year.
