How a Coles shopper scored $113 worth of meat for $21: 'Awesome!'
When it comes to discounted supermarket hauls, these shoppers certainly scored big when shopping at their local Coles.
One shopper recently shared her impressive grocery bargains on a popular Facebook page where shoppers share their savings and others couldn’t believe her luck.
The Victorian shopper revealed she managed to spend just $21 but scored herself over $113 worth of meat.
Included in her massive savings shop were six packs of mince reduced down to $2 from $10 for regular mince and $2.40 from $12 for lean mince.
She also picked up sirloin steaks for $2.20 along with packets of carrot sticks for 40 cents and packets of chopped kale for 30 cents.
But her most impressive find of all was a pork roast for just $4.
“Coles Sunbury you have my heart with bargains,” the woman wrote alongside a picture of her incredible haul.
Fellow shoppers were equally as impressed, congratulating her on scoring some big bargains.
“Awesome! I know the feeling when you strike a good markdown as a loyal markdown addict,” one person wrote.
“I never walk in and see any discounts let alone this many congrats! I must visit at the wrong time of day or wrong days. I’d would like to find just one thing,” added another.
The shopper shared that while she usually visited the store at around 8:30am, on this day she went in at 6am and found all the markdowns throughout the meat and produce departments.

Another shopper from Queensland also posted about her huge markdowns sharing she’d picked up two large roast lambs for just over $4 each.
“Scored!!!! Total saving of around $70!” She shared excitedly, adding that she had picked up her bargains around 6pm while shopping at Coles Tannum Sands.
Each of the roasts had an original price tag of more than $40. Her post receive more than 300 likes with fellow bargain hunters saying it was a very impressive score.
“Wow what an awesome score,” one person said, with another adding: “Awesome, well done. A couple of very enjoyable roast dinners coming up.”
