Find the tiny snake hiding in this rocky garden
An expert snake catcher has warned people about this little snake hiding in a garden.
The baffling photograph shows a rocky garden with a very well hidden yellow faced whip snake in a Queensland garden and was posted to Facebook by South Burnett Snake Catchers 24/7 on Sunday.
Snake Catcher Christian Andersen warned people to be cautious around these “cheetahs of the snake world,” known for their incredible speed.
He was called to the scene by a terrified customer who thought it was a dangerous brown snake.
“It was a yellow faced whip snake going just by the scales alone,” Mr Andersen told Yahoo7.
“Their venom isn’t considered to be dangerous to humans.
“That said people can still suffer an anaphylactic reaction to the bite so medical treatment still shouldn’t be dismissed.”
He said that the reptiles are often mistaken for “juvenile common brown snakes” and have been found in peoples’ gardens-especially if they have rockeries or retaining walls.
The little snake was tucked away under the bridge in the garden.
It comes after another Queensland family were horrified to find a six-foot brown snake hiding in an unexpected spot in their home.
