Hilary Duff jets Down Under for promo tour
Former Disney darling, Hilary Duff, will be in Australia soon to promote her new single, All About You.
Duff will perform on the Seven Network's The X Factor on Monday September 8 and will also perform on Sunrise on Thursday September 11, while on her promotional trip.
"I'm so excited to visit Australia again! This will be my first international promotional trip for the new record and I cant wait to get down there," Duff said.
It's been a while between drinks for the 26-year-old singer/actress whose last studio album, Dignity, was released in 2007.
While she has a fifth album in the works, it has already been delayed.
"Guys hate to break this news but the album won't be out in October... You will have to wait a few more months. Love all the excitement tho??" she tweeted last Saturday.
Duff is an old-school graduate from the Disney camp - making the transition from child star in TV show Lizzie Maguire to adult actress and pop star without tarnishing her image.
Unlike her twerking Disney alumna, Miley Cyrus, Duff managed to stay wholesome as she took on acting parts in films such as A Cinderella Story (2004) and then on to more adult parts in War,Inc (2008) with actor John Cusack.
Duff has scored a role in an upcoming TV series, Younger which comes with a pedigree - the series is written, executive produced and directed by Darren Star of Sex and the City. It's also based on the novel of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran.
