Elderly couple accidentally sent $10million of drugs in the post

An elderly Melbourne couple received a shock after signing for a wrongly delivered mail parcel containing an estimated $10 million of the drug ice.

The package was delivered to their Hoppers Crossing house on Wednesday afternoon, but the couple called police when they found it contained bags of white powder.

Police say it allegedly contained about 20kg of the drug ice, worth an estimated $10 million.

Investigators then raided an address in Bundoora on Wednesday night and found another 20kg of ice, also with an estimated value of $10 million.

A 21-year-old Bundoora man has been arrested.
