Coronation Street and Hollyoaks crossover details revealed
So, as we know, the reason for the big crossover is to put climate change in the spotlight. In Albert Square, it’s young Bailey who’s the catalyst for that debate, as she’s seen outside Walford East trying to get the locals to sign a petition for meat-free Mondays.

Pretty soon, her efforts have gone viral and it seems like she’s not the only soap character to be getting attention online. On Tuesday, Tiffany will be seen watching a clip of Coronation Street’s Maria taking Tracy down with a passionate call to arms about air pollution. And, on Thursday, Kim is glimpsed reading an online article about Hollyoaks’s Cindy and her upcycling of clothing.
Mick returns – to find Nancy and Frankie at war
It’s the week of Frankie’s driving test, but Nancy is in no mood to be supportive and ends up arguing again with her new sibling. After returning from the test centre, Frankie is rudely told by Nancy that she’s messed up an order. But sick of the narkiness, Frankie ends up throwing a drink in her face and the two women end up chasing each other around the bar, much to Janine’s amusement.
The trouble is that Mick chooses this moment to arrive home with Ollie, and is less than impressed with what he’s witnessing. But when Frankie later apologises to her dad and tries to make amends, Nancy ends up seething with jealousy.
Stacey’s friend Eve vanishes
No sooner has Stacey’s prison ally Eve arrived than she’s doing a disappearing act. And it seems that it’s Jean who’s to blame.
Monday’s episode sees Stacey coming up with a plan to get one over on Suki and ropes Eve into her scheme. The result is that Suki is left fuming because she can’t now evict the Slaters and Stacey enjoys telling Jean about what happened.
But after Stacey departs, Jean firmly orders Eve to leave. And soon enough, the new arrival is nowhere to be seen.
Gray proposes to Chelsea
Whitney is avoiding Gray, and when he begs forgiveness and asks her to attend his dad’s funeral, she turns him down.
But Gray doesn’t end up going to the service alone – by Tuesday’s episode, Chelsea has announced that she’ll accompany him. The day proves to be emotional and when the two of them return to the Square, Gray begins to cry. And after Chelsea reaches out to comfort him, a tipsy Gray asks her to marry him. But what reply will Chelsea give?
Vi is keeping secrets
Might we be about to see a softer side to Vi? It’s certainly about time as, up until now, she’s been nothing but a one-note battleaxe. But on Monday, some signs of vulnerability are peeking through when, after Rainie notices that something is amiss, Vi reveals that her son Jonno has sold all her belongings.
Later in the week, it turns out that Billy now has possession of the items, which he’s flogging as part of a house clearance. But Vi is desperate to retrieve an antique children’s book that he’s sold to Kim. And the reason Vi wants it back? Because it has a rather interesting photograph within its pages…
