Drone Shows Tiger Shark Swimming Near Perth Beachgoers

Officials closed Mullaloo Beach in Perth, Western Australia, for the second day in a row on Thursday, December 15, after a tiger shark was spotted swimming close to the shore.

Video by Perth resident Toby Nicol shows the moment a tiger shark swam close to beachgoers on Wednesday. Nicol’s video shows two children and an adult wading in shallow waters close to the shark.

Speaking to Storyful, Nicol estimated the shark was around two and a half meters in length. “It passed within five meters of people but hasn’t taken any interest in them,” she added.
