Boy, 11, found after desperate search
An 11-year-old boy who went from missing from a Sydney park on Thursday afternoon has been found after police expressed serious concerns for his welfare.
Kiet Tran was last seen between 4pm and 4.30pm at Cabravale Memorial Park on Railway Parade when he told his siblings that he was going home.
Police were alerted when his relatives couldn’t locate or contact him, who described his disappearance as out of character.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command continued their search of the area this morning before he was found.
“A large search has been conducted and a short time ago the boy was located at a home in Cecil Hills,” NSW Police said in a statement.
