'You ruined our lives': Daughter of Sydney man convicted of wife's murder says she will never forgive him

A Sydney man who stabbed his wife to death then lied to police about it, has erupted during a court hearing.

Sharon Michelutti, 48, was murdered in her Riverwood home in February last year.

Domestic violence was such a regular part of her her life, that when the woman's daughter Kalyra Michelutti heard police were at her home she only thought "here we go again" with no idea that her mother was dead and her father would be blamed.

The now 21-year-old testified on Friday about her trauma and inability to forgive her dad, Gavin de Beyer.

She read a victim impact statement in court today, saying: "I will never forgive you. You have ruined our lives."

Kalyra told the court she misses her mum’s laughter and hugs.

After giving her very emotional victim impact statement, Kalyra walked past her father and gave him a long, stern look that said it all.

But instead of remorse, de Beyer ignored his daughter’s tears.

Security footage from inside Campsie police station shows de Beyer putting on the performance of his life. He told police his wife was dead but pretended she'd killed herself. He even collapsed on the floor of the station.

He denied killing her, but in June a jury found he was responsible for plunging the knife into his wife's stomach.

And as if to prove his violent tendencies before he was led away, De Beyer tried to jump out of the dock, lunging toward his children who were sitting in the gallery.

De Beyer will be sentenced in two weeks.
