'Death trap': Dangerous detail in real estate listing
A real estate listing for a studio apartment has raised a few eyebrows after people noticed something dangerous about where the bed is located.
The studio at Pavilion Road, Worthing, south of London, is situated in a “popular location” according to its listing on On The Market.com.
It’s also “spacious and well-converted” and has a price tag of more than A$225,000.
It features a kitchen area and a bathroom, but what’s really caught the attention of people is where the bed is located.
Images show the bed set up over the staircase at the entrance to the loft studio. A small step ladder appears to be set up for access.
People on Twitter were shocked by the listing.
“Seriously…What happens if you are a restless sleeper or one of those sleepers who gets up in the middle of the night to raid the fridge? Or maybe buying this place has the added bonus of weight loss?” one woman tweeted.
One man said the listing came as a reminder of how fortunate he is.
“I’m keeping this picture for those days when my life seems grim. Then I’ll remember I have a bed in a room. On the floor,” he tweeted.

The sinister story behind this 'delectably presented' property listing
Another man tweeted the listing “is simply – just a no” while another called the bed a “death trap”.
Despite the shock and dismay at the listing, it appears someone’s snapped up the property as it’s no longer live on the site.
