'Worst I have ever been to': Disappointed fans walk out of motorbike stunt show

Disappointed fans have stormed out of a motorbike stunt show and are demanding refunds on tickets.

Facebook has been inundated with comments from fans who attended the Crusty Demons: Rise of the Demons World Tour at Coffs Harbour on the NSW Central Coast on Saturday, with some calling it the worst show they had ever been to.

Some paid up to $139 for VIP seating and many were disappointed by what they got at the event.

“Paid for VIP ‘raised seating’ and exclusive seating for this show,” one woman wrote.

“We received plastic chairs.”

She claims a number of patrons stood on chairs which meant she and her children weren’t able to enjoy the show.

“I have two children very disappointed and let down,” she wrote.

Others also complained about the VIP seating and the overall quality of the show.

One woman wrote she left halfway through.

“The Coffs show was the worst show I have ever been to,” she said.

“I find it absolutely disappointing when the grass general admission was such a better view.

“Very disappointed, we left halfway (through).”

However, not everyone was underwhelmed with the show.

On Instagram, some fans called it “amazing”.

One man labelled a stunt “absolutely insane”.

“Best show ever! The tricks were the world’s best!” one woman wrote.

Another woman added it was a “great show” and “superbly executed”.

Patrons who went to the show at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in Sydney’s southwest on August 10 were also left disappointed.

Dad of three Ryan Baker, who attended the Sydney show, told news.com.au it was “a total disaster”.

“I’ve never been to a worse event in my entire life,” he said.

“Hundreds and hundreds walked out in disgust.”

In a statement on Facebook, Crusty Demons said it had to cancel the Sydney show halfway through due to the weather.

“A change in wind direction deemed the event too unsafe to continue,” it wrote.

“We are extremely aware of the disappointment to our fans who braved the cold weather and came out to support them tonight.

“Safety of our riders is paramount, nor do we want to deliver a mediocre performance by removing the main stunts.”

Crusty Demons added it’s offering a complimentary ticket to those who attended the show in Campbelltown to any other Sydney show during the tour.

The Complete Events Group did not specifically comment on the Coffs Harbour event in a statement to Yahoo News Australia, but reiterated the Sydney show had to be cancelled for the safety of riders.

“What the guys do out there as freestyle motor cross riders is ‘extreme’ sport, it is high risk and dangerous at the best of times, wind can be challenging but not something they aren’t used to,” spokesman Matt Mahoney said.

“However, the speed of the wind and change in direction made it impossible for the riders to continue the show.

“No one is more disappointed than them, they wanted to put on the best show they could for the fans.”
