Boxing champion fighting for life after carpark shooting
French pro boxer Jean-Jacques Olivier is in intensive care in hospital after being shot in the chest.
The national cruiserweight champion was reportedly in an altercation in a supermarket carpark in Toulouse when he was shot.
Local media is reporting he was with his brother when he was attacked by two men.
He is now reportedly fighting for life in the intensive care unit at Rangueil hospital.
Local media reports he’s "fighting the biggest fight of his life" and is "between life and death.”
"The judicial police are in charge of the attempted homicide investigation,” Public prosecutor Dominique Alzeari is quoted as saying.
