Blind spot leads to cyclist's horrific death
A cyclist has been run over by a cement mixer after the truck failed to see him in his blind spot.
Video uploaded to Chinese social media site Weibo shows the cyclist and the cement mixer turning a corner in Yunming, China on March 24.
But the truck doesn’t notice the cyclist as he rounds the bend and the man on the bike becomes trapped in the truck’s front right wheel before being crushed.
The cyclist did not survive the horrific incident, according to local media.
The Paper, a Chinese digital publication, reported police said the cement mixer was entirely at fault.
It’s not immediately clear if anyone was charged.
