Bizarre attacks on up to 60 cars after police release CCTV of similar crime spree

Up to 60 cars have been damaged in a bizarre attack just days after Perth police released CCTV of a similar crime spree.

Police are investigating after between 55 to 60 had their tyres slashed across South Fremantle in the city’s south on Saturday night.

It is not known if the tyre slashing spree is connected to the 34 cars damaged around the same area in February, or whether it’s a copycat attack.

Police released CCTV on Thursday in the hope of identifying a man they believe can assist with the investigation into vehicle damage incidents.

The footage related to 34 tyre slashings that occurred between February 9 and 11 in Fremantle, South Fremantle and White Gum Valley.
