Aussie woman wins $1 million with Lotto numbers she 'dreamed'
The new-found millionaire won her prize last month, but only checked her ticket this week.
Have you ever dreamt of winning the lottery? A Melbourne woman did and it won her the $1 million Lotto jackpot.
The lucky winner from Altona, in the city's southwest, said she used the numbers she once dreamt about and won the $1,006,109.05 windfall last month, but only found out this week after checking her ticket.
"I almost fainted!" the woman shared when confirming her prize with an official from The Lott. "We had been away, so I hadn’t checked my ticket."
The new-found-millionaire said she was "very surprised" when she checked her online account and discovered that she held one of the three division one entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4277 on April 12.
"I always play these numbers, they were in a dream I had," she said. "I remembered the numbers from my dream and put them all on a Lotto ticket.

"I’m so overwhelmed. It’s a very nice surprise. We’re still deciding how best to use the prize, but it will make things a whole lot easier".
The winning numbers in draw 4277 were 32, 12, 6, 45, 36 and 2, and the supplementary numbers were 10 and 39. There were another two big division one winners — both were from Queensland.
Millions of Aussies believe you can manifest a Lotto win
Last week, a Gold Coast man said he "was not surprised" by his own $1 million win. He was one of two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4280, and although the odds were stacked against him, he confessed he always knew he would win big one day.
While the odds of scoring a division one Lotto win may be stacked against them, the majority of Australians believe they can manifest a windfall, according to a survey of over 100 people performed by The Lottery Office.
Almost 90 per cent of those asked said they believe in luck, while 80 per cent said they can wish a Lotto win into fruition, and 79 per cent believe they could be a winner one day.
