Alessandro Del Piero pays visit to old friend Antonio Conte at Tottenham training ground
Tottenham welcomed a special guest to their training complex today in the shape of former Juventus striker, Alessandro Del Piero.
The 47-year-old played alongside new manager Antonio Conte for both the Turin giants and the Italian national team, winning the Champions League together in 1996 alongside a number of Serie A titles.
Del Piero, who was in London to work on Chelsea’s meeting with Juve in the Champions League group stages at Stamford Bridge, paid a visit to his former teammate in Enfield and was pictured alongside both Conte and star striker Harry Kane.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sports Italia posted an image of the three together while Spurs were training on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, Del Piero had also appeared on Sky Sports to deliver his verdict on Manchester United’s search for a new manager.
“They need, for sure, some stability,” he said.
“After Sir Alex Ferguson left, it’s been tough for them to find the right manager. United, from what I know as an opponent, is still an amazing place to be with big responsibilities.
“It’s not easy to manage all of that.”
