Liz Cantor

Liz Cantor is a Channel 7 presenter. She attended Griffith University on the Gold Coast and received majors in media communications, journalism and broadcast.

Liz has been a presenter with Channel Seven’s The Great South East and Creek to Coast since 2005 and has been filing beach and surf reports for 7 News since 2005.

Liz often presents the weekend weather and started hosting The Gold Lotto Draw in Queensland in 2008.

Previously, Liz competed in the reality television series The Mole, presented by Tom Williams, and beat twelve others to win $200,000 in prize money. During the series Liz completed extreme mental and physical challenges.

Liz Cantor has appeared in two Australian movies, Gettin' Squared and Blurred and appeared in Blue Water High in 2005 as Corin Hardy.

A keen surfer, Liz was sponsored by Billabong and competed on the Australian Junior Series. Between 2000 and 2002 she was also one of the first ever female surf judges to travel at an international level on the ASP and World Circuit Tour. That took her to destinations such as Fiji, Hawaii, Europe and the Gold Coast.

Her variety of roles at Seven Brisbane include Surf Reporter and weather presenter for 7 News, Gold Lotto presenter and presenter for The Great South East, Queensland Weekender and Creek to Coast.
