'Always and forever': Tony Abbott's daughter Frances weds Olympian beau on Valentine's Day
After announcing her shock engagement last November, Tony Abbott's daughter Frances appears to have tied the knot with a surprise Valentine's Day wedding.
The 26-year-old said “yes’” to Olympic rower Sam Loch after two weeks of dating, and today Instagram posts on both Abbott and Loch’s accounts allude to the pair’s nuptials.
In an Instagram post this evening, a visibly smitten Abbott is pictured wearing a white dress, giving her hubby a kiss.
“Happy Valentine’s Day @samloch Always and forever," she wrote with the picture, accompanying hashtags: #locheddown and #youmaynowkissthebride.
The theme continued on Loch’s page, with a picture of the couple fist-bumping the air, showing off wedding bands.
“The celebratory component isn’t for a couple of months, but we made it official in the eyes of the law today,” he wrote.
“We’re the motherf**king Mighty Morphin Power Rangers of love.”
There were no clues on Tony Abbott's own social media account to confirm his daughter's marriage, with the former PM this afternoon tweeting on a different subject:

Yahoo7 has contacted Tony Abbott’s media department for comment.
Late last year, the daughter of former Prime Minister spoke of her whirlwind engagement, saying she just knew Loch was the one.

Having been introduced by a mutual friend, Abbott and the two-time Olympic rower Sam instantly knew they shared a special connection.
“Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, this is really fast,’” she told News Corp, at the time.
“But it feels so natural to me," she added. "His energy, it’s so grounding. When I am around him, I am like, ‘This is what it’s meant to be like.’ Life is short, and love is special, and sometimes you just need to follow your instincts.”
The pair share a love of fitness, with Abbott having taken up bodybuilding and fitness modelling last year.
