Pub's unusual Australia Day menu - would you try it?
A Brisbane pub will be offering a unique culinary delight at the Eagle Street Pier on Australia Day weekend.
The Lamb-ington Burger will be served up at the Pig N'Whistle and, as it's name suggests, will combine two famously Aussie foods into one delicious meal: A lamb patty between two lamington slices.
Executive sous chef Nick Baker said the combination is "pretty unusual”, but staff were will to “try something different” and “push the boundaries”.
A meat pie burger will also be on the menu.
